Most startup homepages read like The Cheesecake Factory menu.

(And prospective buyers hate it)

The Menu → 250+ items scattered across 21 pages, along with a whole page dedicated to their origin story.

Startup Homepages → A near-endless scroll of features, use cases, and business outcomes, along with a whole page dedicated to how they are making the world a better place.

Many founders love this type of homepage.

“We’ve got something for everyone”

But here’s the thing they don’t account for:

Prospects don’t care if you serve “everyone”…They only care if you serve them.

When a potential buyer sees that you have a bunch of products that solve a bunch of different problems, they don’t think, “Oh wow! This is great!”…they think:

“Whoa, this company does a lot of different things. I’m not sure if they have what I need.”

On top of that, multiple products also create skepticism on quality.

Do you really think the Cheesecake Factory is exceptional on all 250 items?

NO WAY!

I hate the cheesecake factory for this exact reason.

When I go out to eat, I want to feel like I’m getting the special thing that only this place can deliver — not feel like I'm at the grocery store having to figure out what to eat.

SaaS buyers have the same mindset and are skeptical of your “do everything” product.

So while you (and your parents) are impressed by all the things you do...

You might want to think twice about putting everything you do on your homepage.
