Trying to be an "all-in-one" product is dangerous for startups.
There's a growing trend of startups that take existing (beloved) solutions and try to bundle them together to create something new.
"We're like Slack + Miro + Notion all-in-one.”
The problem founders think they are solving:
"It's so annoying to have to switch from app to app."
The solution founders think they're introducing:
"Now you can do it all in one place!"
But is this really a problem?
And the solution just isn't believable...
